We had such fun making our flowers we decided to share our learning out in the community. Off we went to Annalise Haven Resthome for an afternoon with the residents. Our learners were a little hesitant at first, as were the residents, but both soon warmed to the task and the ensuing chatter and laughter were a wonderful sight as old and young united in a common goal.

Earlier in the year we created a Garden of Resilience as our entry into the school "Flower, Frond and Fruit Show". We learnt how to make paper flowers and each leaf had an attribute of resilience written on it. It was great fun and very creative!
